ABOUT

I’m Terrence (he/him), a black wedding photographer based in Ledyard, Connecticut. Yes, I’m the one who keeps talking about “artistically-engineered photography” on this website. This page will hopefully explain why I think this is the best way to approach photographing weddings.

But first, a confession: for someone who’s so confident with a camera, my life isn’t a movie. I’ve never recorded a song and have never been on the big screen. But, here’s a video that shows what it’s like to work with me (probably the closest I’ll come to being Colman Domingo).

I’m a huge music lover. TV and movies are great, too. My venture into photography came from a love of cartoons, comics, and video games. Moreover, I loved drawing, then my parents gave me a film camera. This is part of the reason that I’m a print photographer, including physical artwork in every wedding collection that I deliver.

The couples I work with are bold and they appreciate the creative risks I take. Therefore, most of them get excited when they hear me say, “Let’s try something…” And for that, I create photographs that they feel!
